DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\nIconic American band\, THREE DOG NIGHT\, now celebrating its 6th decade\, boasts some of the most astonishing chart statistics in popular music with 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits\, including 3 #1 singles and 12 straight RIAA Certified Gold LPs. \nCreated in 1968 by Irish-born Danny Hutton\, the group was conceived to feature three strong vocalists who shared leads and also blended together in exquisite three-part harmony\, complemented by four ace instrumentalists\, creating a self-contained unit. This ultimately became Three Dog Night’s signature sound in the studio and live on the road. \nWorking with the studio duo of Richie Podolor and Bill Cooper at American Recording\, they resurrected and recreated songs of the best and mostly undiscovered new songwriters of that time including Harry Nilsson\, Randy Newman\, Elton John\, Laura Nyro\, Paul Williams and Hoyt Axton among many others. The band’s eclectic taste and arranging talents\, combined with the ability to recognize and record hits in a distinctive style\, resulted in Three Dog Night dominating the charts for years\, earning a Grammy nomination\, performing at two Super Bowls and pervading American culture with its music ubiquitous on the radio and in film and television. \nFrom their debut eponymous album\, Three Dog Night went on to release 12 gold albums and by 1975\, driven by chart-topping songs like “One” “Easy to be Hard”\, “Mama Told Me (Not to Come)\,” “Joy to the World”\, “Black and White”\, “Shambala” and others\, the band had sold over 50 million records. During that time Three Dog Night also toured relentlessly\, quickly ramping up from smaller venues to selling out stadiums\, virtually establishing the modern concept of a “stadium tour”. \nHutton\, a denizen of the Laurel Canyon and Sunset Blvd music scenes\, was well established as a songwriter\, producer and recording artist. He worked as a writer/producer for the label established by Hanna-Barbera animation studio where he was also immortalized as a character on “The Flintstones”. Hutton had several regional hits as a solo artist including “Roses and Rainbows” and was invited to join the Sonny and Cher tour\, where he met Cory Wells\, lead singer of the Enemys. They recruited Chuck Negron to complete the sound. Initially the trio planned to work with Danny’s good friend and mentor\, Brian Wilson\, and record for the Beach Boys label Brother Records. Wilson had christened them “Redwood” and they began work on several tunes. However\, that project was abandoned when the Beach Boys objected to Brian’s songs going to another band. After staging a showcase at Hollywood’s famous Troubadour and garnering the attention of various label heads\, Hutton eventually signed the group to ABC Dunhill records. They sought out talented musicians and formed their own self-contained band to both tour and record – allowing them to hone a specific sound and giving them independence from the labels and “Wrecking Crew” studio musicians that drove the sound of that era. The band’s name –Three Dog Night is the now famous moniker that derives from the tale of outback hunters who sleep with their dingoes on cold nights\, the coldest being a “three dog night”. \nThree Dog Night continues to perform over 80 shows a year – thrilling multigenerational audiences by delivering those larger-than-life songs with customary impeccable harmonies over a hard-driving rock and roll foundation. \nThis year\, Three Dog Night will release Enter its first studio album in nearly 40 years. Again working with Bill Cooper from the original production team\, Hutton and the band present a body of eclectic material\, this time including songs penned by Hutton. Band of Horses fashioned gorgeously ragged epics\, Ben Bridwell’s high-flying vocals and eccentric enunciation floating like a specter that felt like a prelude to a dream. Full of profundity\, truth\, and sometimes just homespun advice on how to live\, Band of Horses songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans—meditations on change\, longing\, and what a person will do to make things right. And what you do when you can’t. \nThe band’s debut Everything All the Time (2006) introduced their sweeping\, emotionally resonant sound\, and the albums that followed have cemented their place in the indie rock canon. They’ve released six studio albums\, including Infinite Arms (2010)\, which earned a Grammy nomination. Most recently\, the critically acclaimed Things Are Great (2022) finds the band recapturing the raw emotion and unpolished punk-rock spirit of its earlier days. \nABOUT DINOSAUR JR. \nDinosaur Jr. was founded in 1984 and the group emerged among the most highly regarded in alternative rock. By reintroducing volume and attack in his songs\, Mascis shed the strict limitations of early 1980s hardcore\, becoming an influence on the burgeoning grunge movement. Mascis’ body of work continues to inspire a generation of guitar players and songwriters today. When the original line up of Mascis\, Lou Barlow on bass and drummer Murph re-formed in 2005 for select live dates it was apparent that the years apart had not eroded any of their vitality. Restoring the sound established by the opening hat-trick gambit of Dinosaur\, You’re Living All Over Me\, and Bug\, 2007’s Beyond continued the band’s march into Rock greatness by making old ears smile and new ears bleed afresh. The original lineup has now released five studio albums since their reunion\, most recently 2021’s “Sweep It Into Space” on Jagjaguwar Records.

Just days before the US presidential election\, Folds recorded two sold out performances with the NSO which he released as a live album in 2025 that debuted at the top of the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. Al played guitar\, arranged and produced many songs and sang lead on the No. 1 hit “Help Me\, Rhonda.” In 1988\, Al was inducted into the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Beach Boys and in 2001\, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award Grammy. We’ve traveled around the world\, gathering new stories and new sounds\, and this is what we have to show for it. Joined by longtime co-producer Niko Bolas\, they recorded portions of Moon & Stars while on the road\, setting up camp at studios in Santa Fe\, New Mexico\, and Maurice\, Louisiana\, before finishing the record at home in Nashville. Tracking sessions were fast and inspired\, built around the chemistry of four musical brothers — Malo\, guitarist Eddie Perez\, keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden\, and drummer Paul Deakin — who’ve logged thousands of hours onstage together\, racking up multiple Grammy\, ACM\, and CMA Awards along the way. \nOn Moon & Stars’’ 11 songs\, The Mavericks are larger than life: not only musically\, but literally\, too\, thanks to an expanded roster that features a three-part horn section\, an accordionist\, and a guest list stocked with powerhouse singers like Nicole Atkins\, Maggie Rose\, and Sierra Ferrell. Songs like the album’s tropical title track prove there’s strength in numbers\, with Ferrell and Malo piling their voices into thickly-stacked harmonies over a Cuban charanga groove. Rose appears on “Look Around You\,” an album highlight that splits the difference between timeless country-soul and classic R&B. Saxophonist Max Abrams takes centerstage on “Here You Come Again” to channel the steamy 1980s textures of George Michael’s “Careless Whisper\,” while Atkins adds sauce and swagger to “Live Close By (Visit Often)\,” a roadhouse roots-rocker whose horn arrangement nods to the influence of Stax Records and Muscle Shoals. \nMalo co-wrote “Live Close By (Visit Often)” with K.T. Oslin\, and it’s not the only high-powered songwriting collaboration to fuel Moon & Stars. None other than Bernie Taupin\, the iconic lyricist behind countless Elton John hits\, contributed to the record’s opening track\, “The Years Will Not Be Kind.” A brooding song that evokes western trail rides one minute and Quentin Tarantino film scores the next\, “The Years Will Not Be Kind” dates back to the early 2000s\, when The Mavericks were still riding high on the success of songs like “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down” (their genre-bending hit with Flaco Jiménez) and the Grammy-winning “Here Comes the Rain.” It’s a song about exhaustion and rough-and-tumble durability\, and Malo — a road warrior who’s seen plenty of both — delivers each line with a low register that channels Johnny Cash. “When I found that old demo and listened to it\, I remembered exactly why I didn’t record it back when we first wrote it\,” he says. “It wasn’t believable yet! I would’ve sounded like a kid — too sweet\, too pristine — because I hadn’t experienced enough life. But now\, I can embody that song better. I’ve lived it.” \nMoon & Stars doesn’t spend much time looking backward\, though. “Look Around You” is a modern-day rallying cry for brotherhood\, aimed at a society threatened by violence and partisan bickering. “Our differences are what will make the world go on\,” Malo sings\, his velvety voice backed by Maggie Rose and Kaitlyn Connor’s harmonies. He goes even deeper with “And We Dance.” The song’s operatic vocals and tremolo guitars may channel Roy Orbison\, but its message — inspired by a poignant\, emotionally-charged news segment about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — is a contemporary call for strength\, resistance\, and resilience. \nEverything comes full circle with the album’s final track\, “Turn Yourself Around.” Heavily inspired by the Beatles\, the song was recorded on Ringo Starr’s birthday at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios. For Malo\, it represents a blending of past and present — as a commitment to whatever the future may hold. \n“The Beatles were so influential in this band’s musical development\,” he says\, “and a song like ‘Turn Yourself Around’ couldn’t have happened at any other time than right now. We’ve spent years establishing our own thing\, our own sound\, our own community. Now\, we feel like it’s OK to venture out and have some fun\, too. If you’re not going to do it today\, then when? And who better to do fun stuff than us?” \nTo the moon and back\, The Mavericks are still exploring.

The latest triumph in an extraordinary career that’s included selling over 1.5 million albums in the U.S. alone and turning out hits like the No. 1 Alternative Radio smash “Feel Good Drag\,” Vega reveals a band whose creative passion and one-of-a-kind vision have only grown stronger over time. Arriving on the heels of two back-to-back EPs—2022’s Silverline and 2023’s Convinced—Vega emerged from a period of unbridled creativity for Anberlin\, who parted ways soon after 2014’s Lowborn and reunited for a series of lockdown-era livestreams. In bringing their new album to life\, the band embraced a deliberately free-flowing and DIY approach\, building up songs in McAlhaney’s garage before self-producing the LP at Tampa’s Feral Sound Studios. “In the past we’d sometimes limit our sound to some preconceived idea of what Anberlin is supposed to be\,” says McAlhaney. “This time the mantra was\, ‘If it feels good\, let’s try it.’ Because at the end of the day\, Anberlin is whatever we say it is.” As a result\, Vega encompasses everything from the shout-along-ready pop perfection of “Walk Alone” to the brutally heavy intensity of “Seven” (a shapeshifting and strangely enthralling epic featuring a savage vocal performance from Mullins). “I think after spending time apart we came back with a new perspective\, where we were all just excited to work together and create the best songs we can\,” says Young. “No one was precious about their ideas; it was all about making something that feels new and risky and like nothing we’ve ever done before.”
