SUMMARY:Rolling Together Revue Tour – G. Love\, Donavon Frankenreiter\, Moon Taxi at Concerts at Point of the Bluff
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\nABOUT G. LOVE & SPECIAL SAUCE \nG. Love & Special Sauce is an American Hip-Hop Blues band known for its unique fusion of hip-hop\, blues\, funk\, and soul. Formed in 1993 in Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania\, the band originally featured Garrett Dutton\, aka G. Love\, as the lead vocalist and guitarist\, Jeffrey Clemens on drums\, and Jim Prescott on bass. The trio quickly gained attention for their laid-back\, groovy style and G. Love’s unique vocal delivery\, blending rap-like spoken word with bluesy singing. \nTheir debut self-titled album\, G. Love & Special Sauce\, was released in 1994 on Epic Records and included the hit single “Cold Beverage\,” which became popular on alternative radio stations and MTV\, solidifying their presence in the music scene. The band’s style has been described as a mix of “slacker blues” and “alternative hip-hop\,” as they frequently incorporate elements of 90s hip-hop beats with classic blues rhythms. \nOver the years\, G. Love & Special Sauce has released numerous albums\, including Coast to Coast Motel (1995)\, Yeah\, It’s That Easy (1997)\, The Electric Mile (2001) and the GRAMMY nominated The Juice (2020). Their sound evolved to include more soul\, R&B\, and rock influences\, though they retained their laid-back vibe and clever lyrical play. Their 2014 album Sugar saw a reunion of the original lineup after several years\, and they continued to tour and produce music with a loyal fan base. \nKnown for their energetic live performances\, G. Love & Special Sauce has played at festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Garrett Dutton also frequently collaborates with other artists\, including Jack Johnson\, with whom he shares a similar vibe\, and has released solo projects that dive deeper into his blues influences. G. Love & Special Sauce remains a beloved name in the music scene\, blending genres in a way that feels fresh and authentic. \nABOUT DONAVON FRANKENREITER \nFor nearly two decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been traveling the globe\, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. Born in Southern California\, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves\, turning pro at the age of 16. \nThese days instead of surf competitions\, it’s concert halls that bring Frankenreiter to town\, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves\, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery. \nThis year\, Frankenreiter releasing his first studio in 9 years\, out September 20\, 2024. The album\, entitled Get Outta Your Mind\, marks the 20 year anniversary of his self-titled debut album. \nABOUT MOON TAXI \nOnce again ready to push the boundaries of their genre\, Nashville based indie alt-rock band Moon Taxi is back with their sixth full length album\, Set Yourself Free. With tracks ranging from rock to synth to pop to bluegrass\, the new lineup showcases what 15 years as a band gets you: a polished\, classic sound without fear of exploration. The five-member group- vocalist/guitarist Trevor Terndrup\, lead guitarist Spencer Thomson\, bassist Tommy Putnam\, keyboardist Wes Bailey\, and drummer Tyler Ritter- stepped back into their roots to create an album primarily written and recorded by themselves and set for release on their own label\, 12th South Records. \n“It was really rewarding for each of us. The last record had quite a few co-writes- this record did not. We challenged ourselves to write most of the material on our own and that’s really something to hang your hat on these days when you typically hire an outside writer or producer\,” said Bailey on the band’s creative process. “We really tried to look inward and do a lot of that on our own.” Remote collaboration on Set Yourself Free started for the group during the pandemic\, but 15 years of working together made that transition a smooth one. \n“During the pandemic\, we got used to FaceTime songwriting. For better or worse\, it’s been a great way for everyone to collaborate remotely. The lyics for the title track\, Set Yourself Free\, were even written on a 5 way call. And the song shows that collaborative color throughout. The idea of falling back on someone you trust is so important nowadays. But truly it’s how we’ve tried to operate as a band for all these years.” said Terndrup. \n“You know\, we’ve been a band for a while and we know each other really well. We spend a whole lot of time together\, so it’s not that foreign to be able to get on a call and get your point across to anybody else in the band. We know each other well enough to be able to accomplish that\,” added Putnam. \nThe album was finished through work in a few Nashville studios with the help of producer and collaborator\, Brennan Aerts. \nDespite a more fragmented process\, the band regards Set Yourself Free as more reminiscent of their early work\, citing it as fresh and exciting. Ritter believes they have a fan favorite on their hands- something that will re-energize the old fan-base as well as draw in new listeners. Without a set sound in mind\, the group was free to mold the record into what feels like an authentic Moon Taxi album. \n“We didn’t exactly sit down and have an agenda for what the album was going to sound like. We just worked on songs for a long period of time and then the last couple of months have been more of a discovery process – discovering what we’ve actually been doing and trying to make sense of the whole thing\,” says Thomson. “So instead of going for some goal that we set out for\, it was more just exploring things and seeing how they all work together. We just leave all our opinions in and that makes it more like a Moon Taxi record- it’s all our inside input rather than outside input.” \nThe 13-song record covers a number of genres in a sequence that remains interesting listen after listen. The opening song\, “Walk Out\,” is a fully instrumental piece that features each member of the group. “It starts out with a really simple melody and just morphs into this thing we can all play on top of\,” Bailey observes. “I think it’s what our fans want to hear – that aspect\, the performance of it. You can hear our hands and fingers in a lot of these tracks that maybe got lost on some of the previous efforts. For me\, that’s really exciting. \nAnother band favorite is “Classics\,” which was released as the first single from the record. The chorus line\, “raise your glasses to the classics\,” resonated quickly with the group as they recalled its debut at Hangout Fest when they used that line as a pre-performance toast. Driving and catchy\, this song is an instant reminder of the songs we all live our lives to. \nAn ode to Thomson’s hometown of Bowling Green\, Kentucky\, “Evergreen” brings a bluegrass vibe to the album and features Grammy winning artist Molly Tuttle. Thomson had been hoping to write “a little nugget” about his beloved town\, but after Bowling Green was hit by a tornado in 2021\, the right words finally came to him. With endearing harmonies and a folky melody\, “Evergreen” will surely inspire many listeners to book tickets to visit home. \nWith five previous albums under their belt\, Moon Taxi had\, and took\, the opportunity to think outside the box and make some reaches\, both musically and lyrically. “I think a lot of that freedom comes with having done it for a long time and on album number six\, you’re no longer trying to find your sound like you are in earlier albums. You can kind of do what you want and then objectively look at it towards the end\,” said Putnam. “You just trust yourself and your ear.” \nSet Yourself Free showcases the skill of a fully developed and practiced group of musicians. Free from the barriers of genre and self-definition\, Moon Taxi presents a fresh and bold take on their sound.

SUMMARY:Los Lobos & Los Lonely Boys: The Brotherhood Tour 2026 at Concerts at Point of the Bluff
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\nABOUT Los Lobos \nIt’s a matter of time. 50 years to be exact. And in that time Los Lobos have created an unprecedented body of work\, a legacy of greatness. The numbers are staggering:100+gigs a year for five decades running\, crossing millions of miles to rock millions of fans. And that’s just at the live shows. In between they’ve recorded17 studio albums\, 7 liveLPs\, 3 compilations\, 2 EPs\, 2 DVDs\, and contributed 40+ guest appearances on their friends’ recordings—all garnering 4 Grammys\, an Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction\, the ALMA Ritchie Valens Pioneer Award\, NEA and Hispanic Heritage Foundation Honors\, Congressional recognitions\, plus countless “Keys to the City”and “LosLobos Day” celebrations. And those are just a few of the highlights. But beyond all the hoopla and applause (and the source of it all\, really)is the tremendous heart. Rather\, hearts. Cinco corazones. Five blood brothers who have dedicated their off-stage time to helping others\, working for peace and justice\, penning some of the most literate and important music of their time\, transforming the hard cries from theEast L.A. barrio into songs of hope\, tales of common folk finding ways to endure. The young wolves were weaned on late-night radio’s soul\, R&B\, and doo-wop. Were cured through the African-American currents of the blues\, jazz\, and rock ‘n’ roll. An amalgam. As proud Chicanos\, their songs have always glistened with the distillation from their Mexican and Latin American roots—nourished by Norteña and rancheras\, buoyed by bolero and cumbias\, soaring on the rhythms of son huasteco and son jarocho. Los Lobo shave helped spread the rich diversity of cultures across every continent\, throughout the global community. Kids in Antwerp now know about Aztlán. Residents ofLuxor andGhana are crooning Lalo Guerrero. People from Laos and Bulgaria are belting “La Bamba”—all thanks to The Wolves as cultural ambassadors. Talk about a living legacy. Talk about a productive half century. And in the true rebel spirit\, they did it all on their own terms\, against formula. For the ages. To our delight. Quite simply\, they are one of the tightest\, one of the best\, one of the most prolific bands ever. And\, amazingly\, with the original founding members as the pack the entire time. Unprecedented. As their liner notes put it\, quite simply: “Los Lobos still are David Hidalgo\, Louie Pérez\, Jr.\, Cesar Rosas\, Conrad Lozano\, Steve Berlin. \nABOUT Los Lonely Boys \nFor Los Lonely Boys—brothers Henry\, Jojo\, and Ringo Garza—family has always been at the core of their music and lives. After years of constant touring\, the trio took a much-needed break in 2019 to focus on their growing families. But in Summer 2022\, they returned to the road reinvigorated\, even opening for The Who\, and reigniting the passion that’s kept them together for over 17 years. \nHailing from San Angelo\, Texas\, the Garza brothers coined their own sound—bluesy “Texican rock & roll”—and turned it into a global sensation. Their breakout came when Willie Nelson’s nephew discovered their demo. Willie soon championed the group\, booking them for Farm Aid and recording with them at his studio. Their debut album\, Los Lonely Boys\, released in 2003 and re-released by Epic\, was a smash success\, thanks to the No. 1 hit “Heaven.” The song earned them a Grammy and helped the album spend over 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200\, selling over 2 million copies. \nThey’ve collaborated with legends like Carlos Santana and Willie Nelson\, performed at iconic venues\, and appeared on campaigns for global causes. Their story was also captured in the documentary Cottonfields and Crossroads\, chronicling their rise from a musical family in Texas to Grammy-winning artists. \nBut their journey hasn’t been without hardship. In 2013\, a serious stage accident left Henry injured\, forcing the band to cancel dozens of shows and re-evaluate their priorities. That scare became a turning point\, reinforcing their devotion to one another and to what truly matters—family and music. \nNow firmly back in stride\, Los Lonely Boys continue to write\, record\, and perform with renewed passion. Their time away deepened their creativity and strengthened their bond as both musicians and brothers. In 2024\, they released Resurrection through BMG—a powerful return that captures their signature “Texican rock & roll” sound while uniquely blending elements of soul\, roots\, and rock & roll. With Resurrection earning critical praise and their live shows drawing enthusiastic crowds\, Los Lonely Boys are not just back—they’re thriving. More than two decades after their debut\, they remain a vital force in music\, proving that their story is still unfolding.

SUMMARY:GTLO: Get the Led Out at Concerts at Point of the Bluff
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\nFrom the bombastic and epic\, to the folky and mystical\, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live\, like you’ve never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal\, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album…GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents\, GTLO \nbrings what the audience wants…a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest\, heart- thumping intensity. \nDubbed by the media as “The American Led Zeppelin\,” Get The Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom\, if ever heard in concert. GTLO also include a special “acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “Tangerine” and “Hey Hey What Can I Do.” GTLO has amassed a strong national touring history\, having performed at major club and PAC venues across the country. GTLO’s approach to their performance of this hallowed catalog is not unlike a classical performance. “Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era\,” says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. “I believe 100 years from now they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds\, their music is timeless.” A GTLO concert mimics the “light and shade” that are the embodiment of “The Mighty Zep.” Whether it’s the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked\, groove- driven rock anthems\, it’s their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a truly awe-inspiring event! \nPaul Sinclair – Lead Vocals\, Harmonica\nPaul Hammond – Electric and Acoustic Guitars\, Mandolin\, Theremin\nTommy Zamp – Electric and Acoustic Guitars\, Vocals\nEddie Kurek – Keyboards\, Guitar\, Vocals\, Percussion\nDerek Smith – Drums\, Percussion\nSeth Chrisman – Bass\, Vocals

SUMMARY:An Evening With Band of Horses and Dinosaur Jr. at Concerts at Point of the Bluff
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS\nThis concert takes place on our outdoor Vineyard Stage\, overlooking Keuka Lake. \nBand of Horses will be performing as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of Everything All The Time. \nDinosaur Jr. will be performing Where You Been in its entirety. \nABOUT BAND OF HORSES \nThere might be no other band that was able to channel the generational anxiety in those early millennial years and turn it into such powerful and inclusive art quite like Band of Horses. Band of Horses fashioned gorgeously ragged epics\, Ben Bridwell’s high-flying vocals and eccentric enunciation floating like a specter that felt like a prelude to a dream. Full of profundity\, truth\, and sometimes just homespun advice on how to live\, Band of Horses songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans—meditations on change\, longing\, and what a person will do to make things right. And what you do when you can’t. \nThe band’s debut Everything All the Time (2006) introduced their sweeping\, emotionally resonant sound\, and the albums that followed have cemented their place in the indie rock canon. They’ve released six studio albums\, including Infinite Arms (2010)\, which earned a Grammy nomination. Most recently\, the critically acclaimed Things Are Great (2022) finds the band recapturing the raw emotion and unpolished punk-rock spirit of its earlier days. \nABOUT DINOSAUR JR. \nDinosaur Jr. was founded in 1984 and the group emerged among the most highly regarded in alternative rock. By reintroducing volume and attack in his songs\, Mascis shed the strict limitations of early 1980s hardcore\, becoming an influence on the burgeoning grunge movement. Mascis’ body of work continues to inspire a generation of guitar players and songwriters today. When the original line up of Mascis\, Lou Barlow on bass and drummer Murph re-formed in 2005 for select live dates it was apparent that the years apart had not eroded any of their vitality. Restoring the sound established by the opening hat-trick gambit of Dinosaur\, You’re Living All Over Me\, and Bug\, 2007’s Beyond continued the band’s march into Rock greatness by making old ears smile and new ears bleed afresh. The original lineup has now released five studio albums since their reunion\, most recently 2021’s “Sweep It Into Space” on Jagjaguwar Records.
