Join Glenn Scott Farm for our first workshop of the season!

We all grow tomatoes in our gardens because tomatoes fresh off the vine are the best! But how do you manage them? Plop a cage on and hope for the best? That is definitely one method, but they can easily become unruly, disease prone and difficult to harvest with that method.

Come join our farm manager Chelsea Reinhart as she takes you to a couple locations around the farm to give you hands-on lessons on how to trellis tomatoes a few different ways, depending on their variety. The class will start in our large Greenhouse to see one trellising method, then continue to the pavilion to get a glass of wine to bring on the walk down into the vegetable field (wear comfortable shoes!) to see another method.

This is our first growing knowledge class, so please come, learn, enjoy and tell us what you would like to learn more of in the future.

Additional glasses and bottles of wine will be available for purchase following the event!
