We are seeking a visionary Director of Events and Marketing to lead our team and bring our story to life.

The Role

As Director of Events and Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind both the creative and strategic direction of our brand. You will shape how our concerts, winery experiences, restaurant, and private events are discovered, celebrated, and remembered. From high-level brand strategy to hands-on event execution, this role requires a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and operational savvy.

You’ll oversee all marketing channels, design and promote signature events, grow community partnerships, and ensure every guest experience reflects the world-class standard Point of the Bluff is known for. Leading a talented team, you’ll set the vision, mentor with purpose, and ensure that every campaign and event delivers both impact and unforgettable memories.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead marketing strategy and execution across digital, social, email, print, press, and partnerships.
  • Drive ticket sales, event promotion, and guest engagement for concerts, winery events, The Park Inn, and weddings/private events.
  • Collaborate with operations and hospitality to design and deliver signature, best-in-class events.
  • Oversee storytelling and content creation, ensuring our brand shines across all platforms.
  • Build and nurture community, media, and business partnerships to expand reach.
  • Inspire and lead a small but growing team, including events and marketing staff, interns, and creative partners.
  • Track performance, report results, and identify new opportunities for growth and audience development.

Who You Are

You’re a passionate, results-driven leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing, events, and hospitality. You’re equally comfortable sketching out a brand vision as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute a campaign or fine-tune event details.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, events, or hospitality leadership.
  • Proven success in building multi-channel campaigns that drive results.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and vendors.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and creative problem-solving.
  • Most importantly, you’re energized by creating experiences that connect people and leave lasting impressions.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • A passion for Hospitality, Events, and Storytelling
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, events management, or hospitality leadership.
  • Strong event planning and promotion experience, ideally with concerts, or hospitality-driven programming.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing teams and vendors.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in music, entertainment, or events.
  • Background in hospitality, food & beverage, or winery marketing.
  • Creative skills in content creation
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar) and other relevant software.

Compensation

This is a full-time leadership role with a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
